Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) has confirmed the full seminar programme for its London event, which returns to the Business Design Centre on 14 October 2025.
The one-day expo will once again host the Financial Intermediary and Broker Association’s (FIBA) Specialist Property Finance Club seminars, alongside a wide range of sessions covering residential, commercial, bridging and later life lending.
More than 50 exhibitors are expected, with organisers highlighting opportunities for brokers to meet lenders and providers face-to-face.
All seminars are CPD-accredited, with certificates available to download on the day. Entry is free but advance registration is required.
MAIN THEATRE HEADLINERS
The main theatre will open with remarks from Rob Barnard, intermediary relationship director at Pepper Money, followed by a keynote economic outlook from Rob Elder, agent for Greater London at the Bank of England.
Further sessions include a mortgage market outlook chaired by Barnard with senior representatives from Sesame Bankhall, HSBC UK, SimplyBiz Mortgages and Lloyds Banking Group. Other panels will focus on regulated bridging, first-time buyer lending, buy-to-let financing strategies and lending beyond the high street.
Specialist finance will also feature prominently, with FIBA-led seminars exploring bridging, development and niche market opportunities.
WIDER PROGRAMME
In Theatre 2, sessions will cover later life lending, the role of humans in an AI-driven world, and lead generation through automation. A joint FIBA/MBE debate will consider whether artificial intelligence is a threat or an opportunity for the sector.
Theatre 3 will host a series of Google Digital Garage sessions on practical AI, social media, online business development and workplace wellbeing, with input from the Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter.
Market Financial Solutions will also run specialist CPD-accredited workshops opposite the main theatre, focusing on case studies and new research in the sector.
Mike Mikunda, event director for MBE, said: “We are pleased to confirm a full day of seminars for MBE London 2025, with sessions that address the issues brokers are dealing with right now.
“Our thanks to FIBA, Rob Barnard and all our speakers and partners for their support. We look forward to welcoming the market to the Business Design Centre on 14th October.”
Martin Reynolds, chief executive officer of SimplyBiz Mortgages and FIBA chairman, added: “The programme brings together a strong mix of market insight, specialist finance, technology and practical skills.
“It will help brokers benchmark what is happening across residential, buy-to-let and specialist property finance, and take clear ideas back to their businesses.”
