MHBS launches new no-fee mortgage range

Market Harborough Building Society has introduced a new suite of mortgages with no product fees.

The deals are available across its many specialist lending areas, including let, multi-generation and expat.

Richard Saunders (pictured), the Society’s head of mortgage proposition, said: “We’re pleased to offer this new range of no-fee deals to our intermediary partners who we know are seeing growing demand from clients.

“Research using Twenty7tec’s Insight shows that so far this year, 9% of ESIS’ produced were for mortgages without a product fee. We’ve launched a number of options to meet the needs of those clients wanting lower upfront costs and to provide them with more choice.”

The Society says it continues to review the needs of intermediaries and their clients and add to its range of specialist mortgages. It has also recently updated their rates, including reducing its residential fixed rates by up to 0.20 percentage points.
