Metro Bank rejigs resi and BTL offerings

Metro Bank has revised its residential and buy-to-let mortgage ranges.

For residential mortgages under £1.5 million, the bank is reducing rates on its two-year fixed and two-year tracker mortgages by 10 bps. Rates will now start at 2.09% for a two-year tracker and 2.29% for a two-year fixed rate, up to 70% LTV.

The bank is also refreshing its five-year fixed rate mortgages by up to 40 bps, with rates starting from 3.19% up to 60% LTV.

Metro Bank is also making changes on its buy-to-let mortgage range, with five-year fixed rates available from 3.79% up to 65% LTV, two-year fixed rates available from 2.99% up to 65% LTV and two-year tracker rates from 2.99% up to 75% LTV.

Metro Bank has extended its free re-mortgage solution, currently available to residential customers, to new buy-to-let mortgage customers. They customers will now benefit from free legal and valuation fees on a properties valued up to £1m.
