Metro Bank is opening its 27th store in Milton Keynes, its third store of 2014.

To mark the opening, the bank will be holding two days of celebrations on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th May.

Following the opening of its first store in the MK Centre in January, Metro Bank will be opening its second store in the town, at Oakgrove Village, Milton Keynes, MK10 9SU. Milton Keynes will now be the only town – outside of Central London – to have two Metro Bank stores.

Craig Donaldson, CEO of Metro Bank, said: “We’re excited to continue our expansion in 2014 with the opening of our second store in Milton Keynes. Following the success of our Midsummer Arcade store – which has already hosted a number of networking and community events – we’re thrilled to be expanding our network even further in the area, and look forward to continuing to work closely with the local community.

“As a fast developing town, Milton Keynes is a fantastic community to be in and we are delighted to have found another great location to serve it from. We look forward to welcoming even more personal and business customers in Milton Keynes to join us on our journey as we revolutionise banking.”
