Masthaven Bridging has appointed Jan Gallagher as national corporate sales manager.

Gallagher joined Masthaven at the beginning of March and has previously worked for NatWest and Lloyds TSB.

Her role will be to build relationships with corporates and professionals such as banks, solicitors, accountants, auction houses, insolvency practitioners and specialist finance firms, among others.

Richard Deacon, sales director at Masthaven Bridging, said the appointment provides Masthaven with the opportunity to develop new referral business to complement its existing intermediary channel.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Jan Gallagher to the team. Her experience as a banker and background in short-term finance, makes her the perfect choice to help Masthaven build new relationships with corporate clients.

“We have experienced great support from the intermediary community and want to build on those foundations to develop a new source of business contacts, which will help us consolidate our place as a premier player in the short term lending sector.”

Gallagher added: “Masthaven Bridging is a dynamic and forward thinking business and I’m looking forward to helping open up and develop a new source of business in the corporate market.

“I believe there is huge potential among banks and other institutions to help them provide their clients with a lending service, where they are unable to assist directly.”
