Mansfield BS appoints BDM for the south

Mansfield Building Society has appointed Claire Flanagan as its new business development manager (BDM) for the south of England.

With a background in financial services, Flanagan (pictured) has worked in business development for the last six years. She spent five years at Nationwide Building Society and held sales roles recently at Uinsure and Quantum Mortgages.

Flanagan said: “Having covered the South of England in previous intermediary sales roles, I have built a strong network of broker relationships and look forward to seeing many of the coming weeks and months.

“I’m very excited to have joined the team at Mansfield and with their unique Versatility range, their ability to help many potential borrowers who don’t fit the criteria of mainstream lenders is an area of huge potential. I look forward to spreading the word.”

Tom Denman-Molloy, intermediary sales manager, added: “Bringing someone in with the calibre of Claire is a testament to Mansfield being seen by more and more brokers as one of the leading smaller building societies offering truly innovative solutions for borrowers.

“The South of England is an area where we see our products becoming increasingly more popular and so I am sure Claire will help the Society grow its footprint in the area.”
