Magellan to hold trade show one-to-ones

Published on

Magellan Homeloans is offering brokers the opportunity to book a one-to-one consultation session at most of the trade shows, conferences and events it is attending during 2016.

Brokers can book a time to meet with their regional sales manager to review a specific client application, discuss products and criteria, marketing opportunities or hear about the type of lending and service that Magellan offers.

The one-to-one sessions were trialled at a recent Mortgage Intelligence conference and met with a positive response from brokers. Steve Turner, director of Hallmark Mortgages Limited, said: “Meeting lenders at shows and conferences is always worthwhile, but it can be a hit and miss affair knowing if you’ll meet the sales manager responsible for your business.

“Being able to book a one-to-one session means you can go prepared to discuss a specific case or issue, which makes your day so much more productive. Sometimes the most effective ideas are the simple ones.”

Magellan is currently scheduled to attend over 15 events this year, including Financial Services Expo in Manchester on 18 May and Mortgage Business Expo in Bristol on 6 July and London on 12 October.

Simon Read, managing director of lending at Magellan Homeloans, said: “Trade shows have always been a great networking opportunity and our one-to–one sessions means that the day will be even more useful for busy brokers. A list of the events we’ll be attending this year is available on our website.”
