Magellan Homeloans recruits regional sales manager

Magellan Homeloans has appointed Louise Apollonio as regional sales manager for the North West of England.

She has over 15 years’ experience gained in various roles within financial services. Her most recent role was at Uinsure where she worked with intermediaries developing their general insurance business.

Her previous experience within specialist mortgages included her roles as both an onsite underwriter then key account manager at Mortgages PLC as well as working with the North West based packager, The Select Partnership.

Jason Neale, sales director of Magellan Homeloans, said: “The role of regional sales manager at Magellan Homeloans is all about adding real value to intermediaries, which often involves helping them to adapt and change their business model to take advantage of specialist lending opportunities.

“Louise’s skills and experience in helping to develop an intermediaries business makes her a great addition to the team.”

Apollonio added: “Working with intermediaries to help them with their day to day business and develop additional income streams is something I’ve always been passionate about.

“The opportunity to do this within the specialist lending sector, where I was keen to return to, is really exciting. I’m looking forward to offering intermediaries in the North West plenty of options for when high street lenders can’t help.”
