LV= has joined CIExpert’s Life & Critical Illness Cover (CIC) and Income Protection (IP) Insight Zones, expanding adviser access to detailed product information across its protection range.

The move makes LV=’s policies available to all CIExpert subscribers, providing a resource for advisers comparing critical illness and income protection products.

With LV= now included, CIExpert’s Life & Critical Illness Insight Zone features every critical illness insurer in the UK. The Income Protection Insight Zone also continues to grow, with more insurers providing advisers with access to in-depth policy insights.

ENHANCED ACCESS TO PROTECTION PRODUCTS

Advisers using the platform can now explore all key aspects of LV=’s Life, Critical Illness, and Income Protection plans, including product features, policy benefits, and added-value services. LV=’s range of protection products is designed to be tailored to different client needs, offering financial, emotional, and practical support during unexpected life events.

CIExpert’s Insight Zones provide advisers with an interactive dashboard, designed in line with Consumer Duty requirements, giving “instant” access to key product information and tools. The platform offers a view of protection policies, including details on condition coverage, claims data, payment levels, product flexibility, and annual statement updates.

CIExpert reports increasing adviser engagement with its Insight Zones. The recent integration with Iress will allow direct access to CIExpert’s Insight Zones from Iress’ Exchange and Xplan Mortgage platforms, making it easier for advisers to incorporate the resource into their client research.

Paul Roberts, proposition and distribution director at CIExpert, said: “LV=’s inclusion is a significant milestone for both our Critical Illness and Income Protection Insight Zones. Our mission is to make product comparisons as simple, clear, and accessible as possible for advisers, helping them navigate the complexities of product selection with confidence.

“We’re also delighted to now have every CIC provider in the market on board our Insight Zone. The expansion of the Income Protection Insight Zone also highlights the increasing recognition of its value among insurers and advisers alike.”

Gary Beyer, protection proposition director at LV=, added: “We are committed to supporting advisers with clear, accessible information on our products, ensuring they have everything they need to help clients make the right protection choices.

“By joining CIExpert’s Insight Zones, we’re making the process easier for advisers to compare our CIC and IP products, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and better client outcomes. With an extensive portfolio of quality protection products, advisers can offer their clients peace of mind when it comes to protecting what matters.”

Paula Bertram-Lax, chief customer & people officer at LifeSearch, welcomed the news, adding: “Adding the extensive range of LV= Critical Illness and Income Protection plans to the Insight Zone is tremendous news, with extra valuable insights for advisers.

“This latest addition further cements CIExpert’s position as the UK’s leading protection research platform. It certainly helps us and other advisers protect more customers properly, with well informed and researched solutions.”
