LSL Property Services has appointed David Tilak as its new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Board Director as the group looks to accelerate its financial transformation and deliver on its growth ambitions for 2026 and beyond.

Tilak (main picture) will join LSL on 12 January 2026 from Serco Group PLC, where he currently serves as Group Finance Director, overseeing operational performance, fiscal controls, and internal and external reporting.

According to the company his appointment follows a “rigorous and extensive search process”.

LSL is one of the largest providers of services to mortgage intermediaries and franchised estate agencies.

DISTRIBUTION

PRIMIS is one of the UK’s largest mortgage and insurance networks and together with the distribution introduced by independent brokers to The Mortgage Alliance, TMA, the Division has a mortgage market share of one in nine UK purchases and remortgages.

The Division also includes the Group’s joint venture investment, Pivotal Growth, established in 2021 with Pollen Street Capital to execute a ‘buy and build’ strategy of mortgage brokers. Since formation it has acquired 17 firms and now has more than 500 mortgage advisers.

NEXT GROWTH PHASE

With more than 25 years’ experience in senior financial and operational roles, Tilak has held leadership positions at General Electric and Imperial Brands PLC, where he spent six years and rose to Group Finance Director.

LSL said his track record of driving transformation and strategic investment across complex international businesses would play a key role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth.
