Love Finance partners with iwoca to speed up SME lending

Published on

Love Finance has partnered with iwoca in a move designed to accelerate loan decisions for small businesses by integrating iwoca’s technology directly into its lending platform.

The UK-based SME lender and broker will adopt iwoca’s API to automate eligibility checks and provide real-time decisions, aiming to deliver a faster and more streamlined process for applicants.

Love Finance said the integration marks a significant step in its strategy to simplify and speed up access to business finance.

The partnership comes as speed of decision-making becomes increasingly important for SMEs seeking funding.

RAPID DECISIONS

According to iwoca’s latest SME Expert Index, 72% of brokers identify rapid decisions as a key factor when choosing a lender. Automated workflows and real-time assessments – central features of the API integration – are expected to address this demand.

Iwoca’s system evaluates eligibility instantly, enabling applicants to receive quicker and clearer responses. Both firms say the collaboration will remove friction in the application process and widen access to funding at a time when small businesses continue to face tight cashflow conditions.

Love Finance has funded around £400 million in loans to more than 8,000 SMEs and has doubled revenue year on year while remaining profitable. Iwoca has lent more than £1 billion to SMEs in 2025 as part of its ongoing expansion across Europe.

PUSHING FORWARD

Alex O’Malley (main picture, inset), chief commercial officer at Love Finance, said: “This partnership reinforces our position as a forward-thinking, agile lender delivering fast and efficient solutions to UK SMEs.

“Thanks to iwoca’s technology and partnership, we’re able to push our lending speed and transparency even further, making the business finance journey smoother, fairer, and more accessible than ever before.”
