LMS becomes affiliate member of the Conveyancing Association

Published on

The Conveyancing Association has welcomed LMS as its newest affiliate member, marking a formal tie-up between the trade body and the long-established conveyancing technology platform.

LMS, which has worked in the market for more than three decades, has evolved from its early role as a link between lenders and law firms into what it describes as a fully digitised ecosystem underpinning the home-buying and selling process.

The business now works with more than 4,000 law firms and counts some of the UK’s largest lenders among its clients.

Its technology includes LMS Panel Link, which streamlines lender panel management; LMS Select, a tool that matches introducers with law firms; and LMS Remortgage, a digital platform designed to speed up refinancing.

The company also provides Confirmly, which verifies law firms’ bank account details to reduce fraud risk. Last year LMS launched the National Property Transaction Network, a cross-industry initiative to establish shared standards for interoperable technology.

As an affiliate member of the CA, LMS will gain access to a range of benefits including networking at meetings and events, use of the association’s branding and engagement with member firms. The company will also attend the CA’s annual conference and dinner at The Belfry in February 2026.

Nick Chadbourne (pictured), chief executive of LMS, said: “We’ve worked closely with The Conveyancing Association for many years, so it’s great to now formalise that relationship by becoming an official affiliate member.

“The CA’s commitment to collaboration and innovation across the sector aligns perfectly with our own values at LMS, and we’re looking forward to continuing that work together to drive meaningful change for the industry.”

Nicky Heathcote, non-executive chair of the CA, added: “We are thrilled to welcome LMS into the CA as our newest affiliate members. Their heritage and expertise, combined with their commitment to embracing innovation and building meaningful partnerships across the market, will be of huge value to our members.

“LMS has played a pivotal role in shaping the way lenders and conveyancers work together, and their ongoing investment in technology and connectivity aligns closely with the CA’s vision for the future of conveyancing.”
