L&G reveals business quality award winners

Legal & General has this afternoon announced the winners of its sixth annual Business Quality Awards (BQAs).

Launched in 2011, the awards aim to recognise the hard work IFAs and network advisers have demonstrated towards the retention of protection business and exceptional levels of customer service.

The winners of the awards, who were recognised at the event held at Legal & General’s head office in Coleman Street, London, were:

  • Outstanding Performance Award – Vita
  • Best Reinstatement Performance Award – Protect Line Ltd
  • Best Customer Retention Performance Award – Hannah Corporation
  • Customer Excellence Award (Firm) – Lifesearch
  • Customer Excellence Award (Network) – Tenet Group
  • Data Precision Award – London & Country Mortgages
  • Special Recognition Award – Essential Insurance
  • Outstanding Customer Outcome – Futureproof
  • Best Support Account Manager – Andrew Richards

Mark Holweger, managing director of Legal & General Insurance, said: “The winners of this year’s Business Quality Awards have for the sixth year in a row demonstrated an exceptional standard of customer service and retention of protection business.

“I am proud that Legal & General celebrates these efforts with our awards and by shining a light on these achievements, we hope to encourage those working within the industry to continue delivering excellent service and advising on the benefits of protection.”
