L&G reveals award winners

Legal & General has announced the winners of its annual Mortgage Club Awards.

Halifax, NatWest and Mortgage Advice Bureau came out on top, picking up awards, in the lender, broker and quality categories. The annual awards lunch was held at The Guildhall, located in the City of London.

The Legal & General Mortgage Club Awards recognise excellence over the last 12 months and are voted for by the Legal & General Mortgage Club brokers and lenders.

The winning lenders were:

  • Best Lender for Large Loans – Halifax
  • Best Lender for Buy to Let – BM Solutions
  • Best Lender for Service – Halifax
  • Best Specialist Lender – Precise
  • Best Lender for New Build – Halifax
  • Best Overall Lender – Natwest
  • Business Manager of the Year – Sonia Banks (Natwest)
  • Best Lender for Partnership with Mortgage Club – Virgin Money & Vida Homeloans (joint winners)

The winners of the broker awards who are members of the Legal & General Mortgage Club were:

  • Best Broker Firm for Buy to Let – L & C
  • Best Broker Firm for New Build – Mortgage Bureau
  • Best Broker Firm for Large Loans – SPF
  • Best Medium Sized Firm for Overall Quality – Andrews
  • Best Large Firm for Overall Quality – Mortgage Advice Bureau
  • Best Overall Protection & GI Broker Firm – Stonebridge
  • Best Overall Mortgage Broker Firm – Mortgage Advice Bureau
