Legal & General Network has published details of its School of Excellence training programmes for 2012.

Designed to train new mortgage and protection advisers to the industry, the Legal & General School of Excellence has been developed in conjunction with the National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSFAS).

The School of Excellence achieved accreditation from NSFAS in the summer of 2011. The accreditation scheme is specifically designed for financial services training to recognise the excellent training opportunities provided by small and large employers.

During the 12 week course, which leads to fully qualified CFII adviser status, delegates cover topics including product and market knowledge, selling skills and communicating and influencing techniques, including the use of CRM tools.

L&G said the success rate for the first programme was “exceptionally high””
