L&G Mortgage Club sees large rise in business

Legal & General Mortgage Club has reported that its completed completed business in 2011 was up 35% on the previous year.

Mortgage applications through the club were over £22 billion and completed business was £15.8 billion up from £11.6 billion in 2010.

Ben Thompson, managing director of Legal & General Mortgage Club, said: “We received terrific support from our members and our lender partners throughout 2011. It was another tough year for the sector as a whole
