LendInvest partners with BidX1 to improve finance options for auction buyers

LendInvest has agreed a new partnership with BidX1 to speed up access to short-term finance for property investors operating in the auction market.

LendInvest Mortgages has formed a new partnership with digital auction platform BidX1, aiming to give buyers faster access to the funding they need to complete transactions within the tight timelines typical of property auctions.

The agreement enables BidX1 buyers to connect directly with LendInvest’s short-term lending team, with access to bridging finance that can cover both acquisition and refurbishment costs.

Borrowers will also have a clear route into LendInvest’s buy-to-let products, alongside potential access to development finance, helping them move from acquisition to longer-term ownership without interruption.

Both firms said the partnership is designed to support buyers working to completion deadlines of between 28 and 56 days, a defining feature of the auction sector.

Leane Ardron, managing director for short-term financing at LendInvest, said: “This partnership with BidX1 is fundamentally about delivering certainty and speed in a compressed timeline.

“Auction deadlines are unforgiving, and property investors and developers need guaranteed funds fast.

“LendInvest is uniquely positioned to meet this demand, offering swift access to crucial bridging finance. Our focus on technology and efficiency, including the use of AVMs and dual representation, enables our team to move quickly, ensuring property investors meet the critical 28-day completion window.

“We are excited about the potential of this strategic partnership. It will reinforce LendInvest’s position as a leading specialist lender, driving significant growth for both businesses.”

SUPPORTING AUCTION ACTIVITY

Stuart Collar-Brown, head of client acquisition at BidX1 UK, said: “We’re really pleased to be partnering with LendInvest to enhance the speed and accessibility of finance across our auctions.
