LendInvest Mortgages has announced the appointment of four new field business development managers (BDMs) – Lois Ashcroft, Ed Appleby, Rod McPherson, and James Hamblin – to improve its origination process and support its growth plans.

Ashcroft will represent South West & South Wales. She joins the business from Pepper Money UK, where she served as the regional development manager for the South West. She has over five years of experience in business development and mortgage advisory roles, previously working at Principality Building Society as a mortgage underwriter and customer consultant.

Appleby will cover North East & Yorkshire: He comes to LendInvest from Penrith Building Society, where he held the position of head of products & distribution. His career includes roles such as head of intermediary and business development manager.

McPherson’s territory is Scotland. He previously held the role of regional business development manager at Atom Bank, where he spent over seven years developing successful relationships with mortgage intermediaries. His prior experience includes positions at First Mortgage and Halifax.

Finally, Hamblin will cover the South East. He was most recently with KSEYE as a business development manager. His career includes significant tenures at Step One Finance Limited, Enterprise Finance Ltd, and NatWest, where he managed large portfolios and developed key broker relationships.

Paula Mercer, head of sales at LendInvest Mortgages, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Lois, Ed, Rod, and James to the LendInvest Mortgages team. Each of them brings unique skills and experience that will be invaluable as we continue to expand our origination efforts and deliver exceptional service to our clients across the UK. Their collective expertise will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing success and growth in the market.”
