LendInvest has recruited Bart Boezeman in the new role of chief marketing officer.

Boezeman (pictured) comes from Microsoft, where he was director of global brand and marketing strategy.

He has also worked for ING, Nokia and Heineken.

Christian Faes, LendInvest’s CEO, said: “We are delighted to welcome Bart to the LendInvest team. He brings with him a wealth of expertise that, matched with his ideas and drive, will contribute to LendInvest’s brand development.

“Bart’s interest in the alternative finance sector and passion for LendInvest’s core value proposition will help drive our marketing strategy going forward.

“It is very important that we are able to take the LendInvest brand to the next level with this appointment, which is why we spent such a long time recruiting for the role. Not only were we pleased with the volume of interest we received, we were absolutely overwhelmed with the calibre of candidates that applied.””

Boezeman added: “This is a delicious opportunity and I am really excited to be joining the team at LendInvest. They are a company that is clearly set on doing things in a very different way. The mortgage industry is one that is ready for something new, and the LendInvest vision is an extremely exciting one.”
