Lenderhive launches to simplify access to green mortgages

Published on

A new digital mortgage brokerage, Lenderhive, has officially launched today, promising to simplify the process of securing green mortgages for energy-efficient homes through smarter use of data and a fully online customer journey.

The company, an appointed representative of the Rosemount Financial Solutions (IFA) network, positions itself as a specialist in mortgages that reward homeowners for improving energy efficiency.

With a streamlined digital platform and transparent application tracking, Lenderhive aims to help borrowers find suitable deals with minimal friction, while still offering access to human advisers when needed.

Lenderhive has also joined the Open Property Data Association (OPDA) in support of open data standards for property and finance. Its participation is intended to bolster transparency in the mortgage market and improve the quality of information available to homebuyers.

The firm’s chief executive, James Armitage, said the business was founded to bridge the gap between sustainability goals and traditional mortgage processes.

“Mortgages can feel complex, but the continued progress in modern green finance is making sustainable home buying more accessible than ever,” he said.

“At Lenderhive, we simplify the process, ensuring borrowers see the best available deals, including green mortgages that align with their financial and environmental goals.”

The brokerage promises a fully paperless journey, with digital document handling and real-time progress tracking via an online dashboard. Borrowers are also alerted at key stages by email.

Ahmed Bawa, chief executive of Rosemount Financial Solutions, said Lenderhive represented the next generation of mortgage advice.

“Lenderhive sets a new industry benchmark, combining innovative technology with consumer-centric service, and regulatory compliance,” he said.

“Mortgages which reward energy efficiency are going to become more important in the years ahead, and advisers will play a crucial role in helping borrowers find the right products for their circumstances.”.

Maria Harris, OPDAMaria Harris, chair of the OPDA, welcomed Lenderhive’s support for data transparency. “We’re delighted to see Lenderhive supporting transparency and consumer choice through access to smart property and finance data,” she said.

“Their approach, adopting our open data standards, is key to OPDA’s goal of making property information easier to access and helping all homebuyers and sellers make better financial decisions.”
