Legal & General Insurance partners with Mortgage Intelligence

Legal & General Insurance has been added to Next Intelligence’s panel of preferred insurers.

The extended relationship will enable Next Intelligence to offer their Directly Authorised member firms with a wider variety of general insurance products.

In addition, brokers will be able to obtain a building and contents quote for their customers using a few details such as name, date of birth and address using the SmartQuote technology.

Sarah Watts, head of intermediary, Legal & General Insurance, said: “We welcome the opportunity to extend our partnership with Mortgage Intelligence. Next Intelligence is a highly respected mortgage and insurance club and by joining their GI panel, their member firms will now have access to our suite of GI products, including our SmartQuote Home Insurance proposition.”

Sally Laker (pictured), managing director at Next Intelligence, added: “We’re delighted to be adding Legal & General Insurance, part of LV = General Insurance onto our preferred GI provider panel for Next Intelligence member firms. We’re confident that SmartQuote will vastly reduce the amount of time it takes for advisers to offer home insurance.

“With the reduced risk of accidental non-disclosure and 0% interest charge when paying by monthly Direct Debits, it’s also a great message for advisers to discuss with their clients.”
