Legal & General Conveyancing Services launches

Published on

Legal & General Mortgage Club has launched Legal & General Conveyancing Services, which offers brokers two conveyancing options for their customers.

Legal & General Solutions, supported by BM Conveyancing and powered by ULS Technology, will be offered alongside Premier Property Lawyers. As a result, brokers will be able to access support from two conveyancers.

Both options will provide a ‘no completion, no legal fee guarantee’ – should an instruction not complete, no legal fees will be charged.

In addition, online case tracking and quotation tools, helpdesk assistance and a single point case management are available.

Legal & General Solutions will enable brokers to choose from a nationwide panel of more than 200 solicitor firms, allowing them to compare the options based on price, location and rating. These panel providers will be reviewed and regularly monitored. Alternatively, by choosing Premier Property Lawyers, brokers will work directly with a national law firm.

This launch sees Legal & General Mortgage Club adding to its growing range of holistic services, including, second charge, later life lending and bridging.

Jeremy Duncombe (pictured), director of Legal & General Mortgage Club, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with two of the UK’s leading conveyancing providers to create Legal & General Conveyancing Services. ULS complements our strategic partnership with Premier Property Lawyers which is good news for brokers and consumers alike, as it expands the choices available to provide a more tailored approach to conveyancing.

“It is vital that brokers look to differentiate the services they provide, and we now hope to see even more advisers choosing to diversify their proposition. Whether it is conveyancing, second charges or protection, brokers can make themselves an indispensable part of the house buying or remortgaging transaction by offering customers a holistic service.”

Phil Rickards, head of BM Solutions, added: “I am delighted that we have been able to join forces with Legal & General in what clearly represents an exciting development for our respective conveyancing businesses.

“Legal & General Solutions will continue to provide brokers and consumers with access to our award winning service, supported by our field and telephony based BDM teams.”
