The Leeds Building Society has sponsored kits for the junior Rugby team at Wyke ARLFC.

Alison Barrans, customer service adviser at the Society’s Bradford branch, met the ‘Zigger Zaggers,’ – the three to five year old’s Rugby team the mutual has sponsored for £300.

She spent two hours with them, watching them practice their skills and talking to the adults who support their training.

Barrans said: “We are delighted to make this donation and support the team. As a building society, we are owned by our members and are pleased to support good causes in the communities where we and our members live and work.”

Phil Oliver, sponsorship & events co-ordinator at Wyke ARLFC, said: “Thanks to Leeds Building Society’s sponsorship we now have matching shirts for our younger players, making them feel part of the club to a greater extent.
