Specialist lending brokerage Laybourne Finance has joined Shawbrook’s strategic broker panel.

Laybourne Finance was formed in 2013 to give a relationship led service to clients within the residential and commercial property markets.

Liam Keighley, director at Laybourne Finance, said: “We offer a bespoke service to our clients and always endeavour to meet them face to face in order to truly understand, not only their transaction, but their long term goals.

“Over the past five years we have seen a number of factors impact this marketplace which has only gone to show that our approach to our clients has been vital to the growth of the company.

“What is even more important is having key relationships with lenders that not only understand the marketplace they sit in but also the complex nature and diverse deals that land on a broker’s desk. This is where our relationship with Shawbrook Bank really shines through.

“Our team here at Laybourne have extensive lending experience and the support offered in partnership with Shawbrook has allowed them to grow their knowledge of the market and in turn enhance the offering to our valued clients and introducers.

“One of our targets in 2018 was to become a strategic partner of Shawbrook Bank who have supported us tremendously since our inception.

“This partnership can now allow us to have an even better offering to our valued introducers and clients alike and I am excited about where this will take us.”

Peter Turner, senior development manager at Shawbrook Commercial Property, added: “Laybourne have grown into a specialist lending brokerage with expertise in assisting property professionals with all aspects of their financial needs including short term loans, longer term commercial loans and development finance.

“Liam has built up great respect within the bank and wider community as he always has the clients’ best interest at heart and is passionate at finding them the best deal depending on their circumstances.

“Liam and the rest of his team of advisers at Laybourne are a pleasure to work with.”
