Later Life Lending Network to hold roundtable workshop

Published on

The Later Life Lending Network, part of The Right Mortgage, has announced details of a Later Life Lending Round Table Workshop for its later life specialists.

Taking place on Wednesday 1st May, between 10am and 3.30pm at Copt Heath Golf Club in Knowle near Solihull, the event is an opportunity for advisers active, or looking to become active, in the later life lending space to secure a range of information to grow their propositions.

The event will feature later life presentations and interactive round tables from providers, showcasing developments within the sector, as well as outlining market opportunities, and offering delegates the chance to debate and exchange ideas.

The Later Life Lending Network Directors and other staff will be on hand to provide support to all advisers who attend, whether already offering later life advice, interested in finding out more about getting qualified or simply wishing to find partners to refer to.

A networking lunch is also provided and all delegates will receive CPD points for attending.

Victoria Clark, head of equity release at The Right Mortgage and Protection Network, said: “We hold a Later Life Lending Round Table event twice a year, and this one provides our advisers with their first opportunity in 2024 to hear from a variety of experts in this sector, to develop their understanding of the market and the potential customer base, and to discuss with us how we can support their proposition, whether new to this market or looking to grow their offering.

“For all manner of reasons, demand for later life lending is growing as older homeowners seek to utilise their biggest asset in order to meet their financial needs. Whether it is using this money to support themselves or their families, whether it is to meet ongoing living costs or pay for care, whether it is providing a greater level of income in retirement or paying off an interest-only mortgage, there are clear issues that can potentially be solved via later life lending advice.

“We as a network specialise in this space and wish to continue to drive awareness to our other network members. Our second workshop of the year is our Later Life Annual Conference and Awards Gala Dinner later in December. We are looking forward to a year of developments in the later life space.”
