Later Life Lending Network launches workshops

The Later Life Lending Network, part of The Right Mortgage (TRM), is launching later life lending workshops.

Called ‘2025 – Building Your Success Toolkit’, the workshop is taking place on Wednesday 7th May at Nuthurst Grange in Solihull and will cover a range of education sessions and roundtables with The Later Life Lending Network team and  a range of providers and partners.

The sessions will begin with a welcome from Victoria Clark, Head of Lending at TRM, followed by roundtable sessions throughout the day, and presentations from Tipton Building Society, and Hansen Lu, Economist at Aviva.

The event is a day for TRM members and partners to network and visit a range of exhibitor stands from the following sponsors and providers: Aviva, Equilaw, Gilroy Street Solicitors, Just, Legal & General, LiveMore, LV=, more2life, Newbury Building Society, Perenna, Pure Retirement, Royal London, Standard Life Home Finance, The Family Building Society, and Tipton Building Society.

PRODUCT SOLUTIONS

Victoria Clark (main picture), Head of Lending at TRM, said: “We are very proud of the Later Life Lending Network at TRM and the work our advisers do within it to support the growing interest, demand and need from older homeowners.

“There is a growing array of product solutions covering mainstream mortgage options, RIOs, and a broadening of lifetime mortgage products available, and educating our members on all of these solutions is key.”

And she added: “For this event we are providing them with access to the providers who offer all these product types, as well as the chance to hear from a variety of sources on how they can build and develop their later life lending advice propositions.

“We are looking forward to another great workshop and to see our dedicated later life lending advisers.”

ACCREDITATION SCHEME

Last year, TRM and The Later Life Lending Network launched an Accreditation Scheme for later life advisers, open to those who offer all product options in this space, and who can meet a quality metric, with over 80% file grading throughout the cases.

Those who are accredited are showcased by the network as experts in their field and within a members’ directory.
