Landlords need help over unlawful evictions

A law firm is advising landlords to get the correct legal advice to avoid the pitfalls of unlawful eviction.

Michelle Stevenson, partner and head of housing at Kirwans, said landlords were under greater pressure than ever because of the growing number of tenants breaching their tenancy agreements due to the continuing economic turndown.

Kirwans is hosting a seminar on Wednesday, June 9, to provide landlords with an overview of the law surrounding possession proceedings and unlawful eviction.
