Landbay opens Premier buy-to-let range to individual landlords

Published on

Landbay has widened access to its Premier buy-to-let products, allowing individual landlords to apply for the range for the first time.

The products were launched earlier this year for landlords with up to 15 properties held in limited company SPVs. They are now available to individuals as the lender moves to broaden choice and improve affordability across its buy-to-let range.

The Premier suite combines two and five-year fixed rates, with remortgage and product transfer options that include free valuations. Rates start at 3.39%.

The expansion means individual applicants can now access products previously restricted to SPVs, including Landbay’s like-for-like two-year fixed rate option. This is stressed at either payrate or 4.5% and is available up to 75% loan to value, with loans of up to £2 million.

Landbay has updated the Premier range in recent weeks with rate cuts and additional products, including new two-year fixed rate options and further like-for-like remortgage choices. The range also uses a variable fee structure designed to support affordability.

The current line-up includes fee options from 1% to 5%, with two-year fixed rates from 3.39% and five-year fixed rates from 4.09%.

Rob Stanton (pictured), sales director at Landbay, said: “For brokers looking to support clients outside of limited company SPVs, the news of access to this set of innovative and highly competitive products will be hugely welcome.

“Increasing the scope of our Premier products to include individual applicants reflects their critical role in the rental market mix and our commitment to use every avenue to support brokers and landlords – particularly when it comes to affordability.

“The Premier products answers every call, whether it’s responding to new investment opportunities with competitive fixed rates or giving landlords the options and breathing space they need as they look to refinance.

“In the process, we give our broker partners more tools at their disposal to support landlords of all sizes and setups.”

The Premier products sit alongside Landbay’s Core and Specialist ranges. The Core range caters for portfolio landlords, including limited companies and those seeking AVM-based lending. The Specialist range offers greater flexibility for more complex property types, including holiday lets, HMOs, MUFBs and trading companies.
