Kuflink appoints new CFO

Published on

Bridging lender Kuflink has announced the appointment of Gurmit Raina as chief financial officer, formalising her position on the board following a period of consultancy with the firm.

Based in Gravesend and operating nationally, Kuflink is seeking to strengthen its leadership team as it seeks to scale its lending operations and expand its peer-to-peer platform.

Raina (pictured) brings more than two decades of experience in senior financial roles, including positions as group financial director and company secretary.

Her appointment comes as Kuflink co-founder Rawinder Binning steps into the role of chief executive, providing further stability to the company’s leadership structure.

Binning said: “Kuflink is fortunate to have Gurmit Raina as our new CFO. Her experience at board level, managing complex financial operations, allied to her hands-on approach and innovative problem solving, are just what Kuflink needs at this stage of its expansion.

“She has already demonstrated her undoubted skills in the short time she has been with us working as a consultant and we welcome her as Kuflink’s CFO.”

Raina, who previously worked with the firm in an advisory capacity, said she was “delighted to join Kuflink’s board as CFO” and is “passionate about developing the obvious potential that the company possesses.”

She added, “I look forward to helping to push Kuflink to achieve its goals as a lender and an already successful P2P platform.”
