Knowledge Bank has recruited a new sales and marketing manager as part of its growth plans.

By the end of 2022 Knowledge Bank plans to make a number of key hires to expand and evolve its criteria platform.

Laura Smith joins Knowledge Bank from Fleet Mortgages where she spent six years working in sales and marketing.

The latest hire and expansion plans follow the acquisition of a significant shareholding in the business by Ying Tan in December of last year.

Nicola Firth, CEO of Knowledge Bank, said: “Laura brings a wealth of experience to the role and we’re thrilled to have her on board at this stage in our growth. Her appointment kicks off a rapid expansion plan, and the next year will be a pivotal one for Knowledge Bank as we grow our team and launch a truly revolutionary suite of products for both brokers and lenders.

“Innovation is in our DNA and the time is right for us to scale up. It has been an exceptional few years for Knowledge Bank as we have led the charge in digitising criteria research solutions. Now we are in a unique position in the market place to be able to utilise what we have built and captured so far to push the boundaries even further within the mortgage fintech space.”

Smith added: “The Knowledge Bank platform is essential for both lenders and brokers in this age. Its proven track record is a great foundation on which to build on and I’m excited to join the team at this stage of their growth.

“Knowledge Bank have seen constant growth month-on-month since they launched which is a considerable feat and I look forward to being a part of that continued success as the proposition is expanded.”
