Kids have to wait due to high housing costs

People are being forced to wait before having children because of supply problems with affordable housing, Shelter has warned.

Research from the housing charity indicates that 18% of 18-44 year olds (equivalent to 2.4 million people nationwide) are “actively”” putting off having children because of high housing costs. This increases to 24% among 18-34 year olds.
