Kensington Mortgages restructures team to strengthen broker relationships across UK

Published on

Kensington Mortgages has announced a restructure of its field business development management team to reinforce broker relationships and maintain consistent service standards across the whole of the country.

The reshuffle sees Phillip Pinson and Stephen Chitty promoted to regional sales managers for the North and South respectively, while retaining their existing BDM responsibilities. Sharan Cochrane also takes on a new role as regional sales manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The reorganisation is aimed at enhancing the lender’s ability to support brokers through a more regionally focused leadership structure. Pinson and Chitty will now oversee the four regional BDMs in their respective areas, with the overall field team remaining at eleven members.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES

Despite the internal promotions, the core function of Kensington’s BDMs remains unchanged. They will continue to work closely with brokers to identify opportunities within the specialist lending sector, provide training and education, and support complex case discussions to help brokers grow their businesses.

The lender said the field sales changes form part of a wider commitment to delivering comprehensive pre- and post-sales support.

This includes national accounts, telephone BDMs and a new business assistants team, all of which sit under the leadership of Jane Atkins, head of intermediary sales.

SERVICE STANDARDS

Atkins said the changes would ensure Kensington maintains its high service standards during a period of continued growth.

“These latest changes to our BDM team will enable Kensington to maintain its excellent service as the business continues to grow,” she said.

“This includes a range of valuable support for brokers, from training and education to collaborating on specific complex cases and helping them to identify the right products for their customers.

“Our strong presence across the UK, including dedicated support in Scotland and Northern Ireland, remains a key strength, allowing us to deliver tailored, region-specific services. We look forward to continuing to work closely with our broker partners and using their feedback to enhance our offering and better meet their needs.”
