Just Retirement add key account directors

Published on

Retirement solutions provider Just Retirement has appointed three senior sales people into the newly created role of key account director.
Mandy Basham, previously national account manager at Just Retirement, is the first appointment to the new role. The new recruits are Marcus Henderson and Paul Chedzey.
Henderson has worked within the life insurance industry for over 20 years. Latterly as the national account director for Life Trust and a director of Zood, he spent 16 year career at Skandia, which he left in 2005 as regional director for London.
Chedzey brings a 20 year- track record in dealing with large financial institutions and IFAs. He has held senior sales and account management roles at Defaqto and Winterthur Life. Until recently he was director of client success at Distribution Technology Limited.
These appointments follow the recruitment of John Pyburn as associate director, IFA sales in April 2009 from State Street Global Advisers.
David Cooper, director of sales and marketing at Just Retirement, said: &quotI am very pleased to welcome Mandy to her new role and both Marcus and Paul to the team. Their credentials are impressive and they are all ideally suited to the new role of Key Account Director, a role which sees Just Retirement reinforce its commitment to the IFA market. We are continuing to develop our sales effort and I look forward to making further announcements shortly.&quot
