Just Mortgages introduces ‘coffee with compliance’ podcast series

Published on

Just Mortgages has launched its new podcast series, ‘Coffee with Compliance’, to provide an in-depth look at the importance of compliance.

‘Coffee with Compliance’ is a podcast-style series featuring what the brokerage calls “casual, yet informative” conversations between host Ashley Edwards, financial services director at Just Mortgages and various members of the Just Mortgages compliance team. Every Wednesday, over a cup of coffee, they delve into the nuances of compliance, offering insights that many brokers may not be aware of. The goal is to reveal “the hidden gems of the compliance department”.

The series, which has already completed 14 episodes, covers a range of topics relevant to brokers. For example, one episode explores the role of Regional Quality Managers (RQMs) and Annual Competence Assessments (ACAs) within the broader compliance framework.

Edwards (pictured) said: “The compliance department is one of our best-kept secrets. Brokers often see us as the team that checks cases and manages compliance, but we do so much more behind the scenes to support them.

“‘Coffee with Compliance’ is our way of demystifying what we do and showing just how dedicated we are to safeguarding their businesses.”
