Hall said: “As group managing director, mortgages, I feel privileged to be joining Andy Golding and the exceptional team at OSB Group who have created a formidable specialist bank. My years within the financial sector have been building towards this moment and I’m really energised to get started.

“I’ve admired OSB Group and its family of brands for many years, especially its unparalleled heritage which focuses on delivering valued banking products for intermediaries and customers through the services of passionate and talented people.

“It’s never been more vital that we in financial services keep pace with the way in which the world is changing and specialist lenders, which allow borrowers to navigate lending avenues that traditionally wouldn’t have been allowed, are fundamental in this evolution of a modern yet accessible mortgage market. OSB Group has been at the vanguard of this advancement, and I’m determined in my new role that this will continue.”
