Inspired Lending become BDLA member

Published on

Inspired Lending has become the latest short-term lender to join the Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA).

Inspired Lending is a bridging lender that is backed by private funding.

It provides loans for property purchase, refinancing existing debt, releasing capital or restructuring a portfolio, as well as refurbishment finance to fund light or heavy renovation or conversion projects.

The BDLA is a trade association dedicated to representing the interests of bridging and development lenders, along with their customers. It currently has 46 lender members, with combined loan books exceeding £9.1 billion, as well as 43 associate members.

Vic Jannels (main picture), CEO of the BDLA, said: “Inspired Lending is a new lender, but it benefits from a team of highly experienced specialist lending professionals with extensive track records who were keen to become members of the BDLA as quickly as possible.

“Membership of our association demonstrates that a lender is committed to delivering transparent, customer-focused lending as well as upholding standards for others to follow. It’s the gold-standard for bridging and development lenders, carrying with it the responsibility of following our Code of Conduct and Membership Rules, and the credibility that comes with this.

“Gavin Diamond has been a positive influence in the bridging sector for a number of years, including his senior management role at United Trust Bank, and he was a huge support to the association as a member of our executive board.

“We’re delighted to welcome Inspired Lending and look forward to growing our membership further in the near future.”

Gavin Diamond, CEO at Inspired Lending, added: “Our new partnership with the BDLA marks a significant milestone for Inspired Lending, and we are proud to be part of an association whose guiding principles form the bedrock of the bridging and development industry.

“As the only trade association dedicated to our sector, the BDLA plays a vital role in championing transparency, integrity, and responsible lending—principles that closely align with our values at Inspired Lending.

“We are committed to delivering the very highest standards of service, ensuring brokers and their clients achieve the best possible outcomes in every scenario. Becoming a member of the BDLA reinforces this commitment and enables us to actively contribute to the advancement of the bridging and development finance sector.”
