HSBC lowers personal loan rate

HSBC is offering a personal loan rate of 3.9% APR representative on loans between £7,000 and £15,000 for existing current account customers and up to £25,000 for Premier account customers.

Jonathan Byrne, head of assets and retail banking, said: “We are taking a lead in this market to support our customers whether they want affordable and flexible finance for everyday necessities or investing in family education.

“Repayments can be spread equally from one to five years with options to overpay or defer payment also possible.”
