Hoowla integrates with LMS’ Confirmly

Published on

LMS has announced the integration of Confirmly, its secure identity checking technology, with Hoowla, the legal case management software provider.

Hoowla is now able to offer its customers access to Confirmly, which uses law firm identity checking technology to combat fraud. It can verify bank account details to reduce the risk of financial fraud when transferring client monies.

The tool will reduce the risk associated with money transfers through the utilisation of data from LMS Panel Link and eCOT expertise, as well as gathering information from trusted third party sources.

The use of Confirmly, seamlessly integrated with an existing CMS provider, will provide firms with the ability to checking that funds are being sent to genuine bank accounts to increase security.

Travis Scholes, commercial director at LMS, said: “Financial fraudsters often see property transactions as an easy target given there are a lot of moving parts in the process and a considerable amount of money is changing hands.

“We developed and launched Confirmly over a year ago to help combat this, building the tech to allow quick and easy verification of bank account details, and have seen it go from strength to strength in terms of market demand. It gives some peace of mind to all stakeholders, and we’re proud that the integration with Hoowla will mean we can help protect even more people, especially right now given market circumstances.”

Adam Curtis, managing director of Hoowla, added: “Having Confirmly integrated into Hoowla is going to be a massive benefit for any solicitor on the Hoowla system. It allows them to further build secure and compliant workflows for them and their team.

“At Hoowla we are always looking to integrate and work with innovative tech products like Confirmly.”
