Hodge webinar to cover RIO and 50+ mortgage solutions

Hodge is to hold the second in its series of free webinars on Thursday 30 April.

The webinars are aimed at brokers and IFAs who are either currently operating in the later-life lending space, or considering expanding into this market.

This week’s webinar will cover RIO (Retirement Interest Only) and 50+ mortgage products, as well as providing relevant case studies to demonstrate who these products are most suitable for.

The first in the series was held on 23 April and had more than 140 attendees. The series of webinars are free to attend and will be held over four weeks, finishing on 21 May.

Emma Graham, business development director for Hodge, said: “We were thrilled with the response to the first webinar. This is a real time of uncertainty for everyone, so being able to offer something for our broker and IFA networks which helps them add value to their customers is fantastic.

“We want to be able to provide the right tools at the right time if they are looking to expand into new product areas. The feedback we’ve had so far is that brokers and IFAs are welcoming the information, which is helping to shape their own proposition for customers.

“The current situation in the UK is something we have never experienced, but it offers us all an opportunity to examine where we are in life, and where we’d like to be. We believe these webinars will help to equip brokers and IFAs with the tools they need to guide their customers through this time.”
