HNW bridging lender appoints chief commercial officer

Tenn has appointed Chris Wright as chief commercial officer.

As part of the appointment, Wright (pictured) has also become a significant shareholder in the short-term lending firm, which specialises in bridging loans for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs).

Wright, an entrepreneur and investor with experience in scaling businesses, has worked with Tenn for the past year as a syndicate funding partner. During this time, he has been involved in financing UK and international projects.

EXPANDING TENN’S MARKET REACH

In his new role, Wright will focus on expanding Tenn’s range of short-term lending solutions, increasing the company’s presence in new markets, overseeing pricing strategies, and leading sales and marketing initiatives.

Steve O’Brien, managing director of Tenn Capital, said Wright’s appointment would support the company’s continued growth.

He added: “His expertise and drive will undoubtedly help propel our business to new heights and achieve the continued success and growth we are striving toward.”

Matt Watson, chief executive officer at Tenn Capital, added: “From the very beginning, our relationship has been dynamic and constructive, creating positive and tangible value to our organisation and for our clients.

“With first-hand knowledge and repeated success in shaping professional services businesses, Chris understands the demanding and discerning nature of our market and has a wealth of commercial innovation expertise to further grow our product range and enhance our service offering.”

STRATEGIC GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

Wright highlighted Tenn’s focus on addressing a gap in the short-term lending market.

He said: “Tenn’s dedication to client service and its development of the business to meet an unserved need in the market meant that when the opportunity came along to invest and build value for the business and its clients, I was delighted to come onboard.

“It’s an exciting time in the industry as advancements in technology enable a more frictionless experience for our premier clients; and with the specific capabilities available to Tenn, we are in pole position to offer a totally unique and inimitable service to our market.”
