Bob Andrews has been hired as chief operating officer (COO) for HML.

He will have responsibility for operations and change.

Andrews (pictured) joins the servicing firm following a decade with RBS in its insurance division. He held a number of senior operations roles with Direct Line Group, and was in credit cards and lending with RBS European Consumer Finance.

He has also worked for Natwest, Capital One and Lombard North Central.

“HML is a business with excellent operational capability and a well-established change management function,” said Andrews.

“I’m looking forward to leading the teams through changes that lie ahead in HML’s key markets in a way that continues to generate value for our clients.”

Andrew Jones, HML’s chief executive, added: “Bob’s extensive experience of operations in a blue chip organisation will add further depth and expertise to what is already a very credible executive team.”

In addition, IT director Kim Brien has been promoted to HML’s executive team in the role of chief information officer with immediate effect.
