HML achieves servicer rating for Irish operation

Published on

HML has become the first residential mortgage servicer to receive an internationally benchmarked rating for the services it provides to Irish lenders.

HML was awarded the ‘Above Average’ rating for primary servicing of residential mortgages in Ireland by Standard & Poor’s.

It has serviced mortgages originated in Ireland since 2005.

S&P noted that the team that services the Irish loans is experienced and the mortgages are serviced in line with regulation and compliance requirements in Ireland and that the Irish servicing operation is ring-fenced within the overall HML servicing business.

Andrew Jones, HML chief executive, said: “Seeking an independent rating for the services we provide in Ireland underlines our commitment to delivering a world-class service to our existing clients and new ones.
