HLPartnership makes recruitment team appointment

Published on

Mortgage and protection network HL Partnership has appointed Tom Barnett to the recruitment manager team.

He joins HLPartnership from Response Mortgages, based in Leeds. His new role will be to grow the number of Appointed Representatives in the network and work closely with existing firms to help expand adviser numbers.

The team now consists of Barnett, Ian Merriman and Peter Rose, who all report directly to managing director, Shaun Almond.

The network has seen new membership enquiry levels up 30% this year, when compared to the same period in 2018.

Almond said: “We are delighted to welcome Tom to the team. Not only will his experience be of tremendous value to our recruitment strategy, but I know his joining will allow Ian and Peter to focus further on the rising number of enquiries both from prospective ARs and the requests we have from our existing firms to help find quality advisers.”

Barnett added: “I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues. HLPartnership is a network on the march and I have been both impressed by the HLP proposition and the enthusiasm which surrounds the business.

“I hope to bring these qualities into all my dealings with prospective and existing ARs ultimately contributing to the success of all aspects of the business.”
