Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries expands broker support team

Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries has expanded its broker support with the appointment of three new team members to its Broker Assist team.

The mutual has promoted Kim Dyson to senior broker assist, recognising her six years of experience across a range of mortgage support roles. Dyson joined Hinckley & Rugby in 2019 as a mortgage services assistant and moved into the completions team last year, gaining broad experience in customer service and process management.

She is joined by broker assist officers Nicolle Cross and Dawid Jankowski. Together, the team will provide intermediaries with direct support throughout the application process, from clarifying criteria and timelines to addressing potential issues such as missing documents or credit concerns.

The team also monitors open banking links and application fee payments, aiming to ensure cases progress smoothly through valuation and underwriting.

The expansion follows a series of internal promotions within Hinckley & Rugby’s sales and distribution team, including Lizzie Atkins as sales team manager, Sophie Hancock and Lauren Bayliss taking on new business development roles, and Robin Thira becoming telephone business development manager.

Laura Sneddon, head of mortgage sales and distribution at Hinckley & Rugby, said the strengthened team would help ensure brokers receive consistent, hands-on support.

“The Broker Assist Team plays a crucial role in making sure applications progress smoothly and brokers feel supported at every stage.

“Kim, Nicolle and Dawid each bring a mix of experience and enthusiasm that will strengthen our service further,” she said.

She added: “Whether it’s spotting potential issues early, streamlining application steps, or providing a consistent point of contact, their work will help us continue to deliver the kind of personal, knowledgeable support that brokers rely on.”
