GlobalX becomes Conveyancing Association affiliate

Published on

The Conveyancing Association has announced that GlobalX is the latest organisation to join as affiliate members.

Established over 30 years ago, GlobalX is a provider of property and company information. Over the past 24 months, GlobalX has delivered two digital products to the conveyancing market to enhance productivity.

These include BuildX which is a platform that professionals can use to access and download instant conveyancing searches for new-build properties. The second is MatterCentre, an end-to-end cloud-based conveyancing software with a smart workflow that speeds up transactions by automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks. Both products were designed and built upon the feedback and input of conveyancers, to help them overcome the everyday challenges they face.

As affiliate members for an initial term of two years, GlobalX will be working closely with the CA to explore new and innovative ways to digitise and simplify conveyancing processes.

GlobalX join other CA Affiliate members who are active in a number of fields including search provision, IT services, professional indemnity insurance/cyber-crime insurance, bespoke conveyancing indemnity policy provision and enhanced risk management tools, amongst others.

Lloyd Davies, operations director at the Conveyancing Association, said: “The CA is always looking to work with new Affiliate members who are fully committed to the conveyancing sector and can work with us, and our member firms, in a variety of ways to help further our aims and help develop new services and products.

“We are very pleased to be able to welcome GlobalX to the CA who were unanimously accepted by the CA Executive and will be playing a full part in our meetings and within the Association. What is perhaps even more noteworthy, is the support and commitment shown by GlobalX to the CA at what is an undoubtedly challenging time for many businesses and organisations. We certainly appreciate their membership and we’re looking forward to working together on a number of important initiatives.”

Mark Allwood, CEO at GlobalX, added: “We are excited to be working with The Conveyancing Association. We are bringing 30-plus years of service to the legal and conveyancing industry with us but understand there is still a lot more we can do to help improve it further. GlobalX is committed to delivering market-leading digital tools, accurate information, and superior service to the industry.

“This new alliance with The Conveyancing Association will allow us to connect with the professionals ‘on-the-ground’ and explore new, innovative, and exciting ways that we can help them.”
