Gatehouse Bank appoints telephone BDM

Gatehouse Bank has promoted Thomas Humphreys to a telephony business development manager position within its residential property finance team.

Humphreys (pictured) joined Gatehouse Bank in March this year as a case manager, processing home finance applications and preparing them for the bank’s underwriters.

In his new role, he will be supporting the bank’s relationships with a growing number of brokers and introducers.

His’ first banking role was with Royal Bank of Scotland, where he worked as a complaints handler from 2012 to 2014. He then went on to hold similar roles at the Compello Group and the Connells Group before joining Gatehouse.

Humphreys will report to Faisal Dar, head of intermediary business development, and will be based in Gatehouse Bank’s office in Milton Keynes.

Dar said: “Thomas has become a highly-valued member of the Gatehouse Bank team since joining us earlier this year, and has shown himself to be highly skilled at building relationships.

“His promotion proves we are committed to recognising our employees’ talents and moving them through the business.”

Humphreys added: “I have already learned a lot working at Gatehouse Bank and I am excited about moving into another part of the bank.

“In the short time I have been at Gatehouse, I have seen how it is growing and improving its products. I am looking forward to working closely with brokers and introducers and being part of that expansion.”
