Gatehouse Bank has appointed Zeenat Shaffi as business development manager (BDM) in its specialist finance team.

Reporting to Faisal Dar, head of specialist finance, Shaffi will be responsible for identifying, building and managing relationships with the bank’s panel of intermediaries.

She has over 13 years’ financial services experience to her new role and joins Gatehouse Bank from Principality Building Society, where she was a BDM. Prior to that, she held various positions at Regent Private Finance, Handelsbanken and RBS.

Shaffi will be based at the bank’s head office in London.

Paul Stockwell, Gatehouse Bank’s CCO, said: “I am delighted to welcome Zeenat to Gatehouse Bank. She brings with her a wealth of international home finance experience, which will be invaluable as Gatehouse further cements its position in the specialist finance market.

“Going forward, we aim to further develop and expand our offering to UK expats and international customers, and Zeenat will play a key role in our future success.”
