Funding Circle, the online marketplace for business loans, has provided details of its first series of broker roadshows.

The seminars will take place across the country with the aim of helping brokers who are yet to try Funding Circle and those that have already used the platform, to gain a better understanding of the business and peer-to-peer lending.

Dates and locations:

  • London – 4 March
  • Manchester – 5 March
  • Cardiff – 6 March
  • Birmingham – 11 March
  • Leeds – 13 March

As well as introductory sessions on peer-to-peer lending and the process of listing a business loan on the Funding Circle marketplace, there will also be a number of break off sessions which will take a closer look at the credit decision process and how best to market the funding opportunity to their clients.

Laura McMullen, business development director at Funding Circle, said: “Brokers continue to be instrumental in our growth so we wanted to run a series of detailed and informative introducer seminars with the aim of improving awareness and understanding of the peer-to-peer lending process.

“The advantages of borrowing directly from thousands of British people via our platform include speed, efficiency and cost for both borrowers and introducers.”
