FSA withdraws permissions over RMAR failings

Published on

The FSA has told three firms it is cancelling its Part IV permissions.

Active Mortgage Solutions (UK) of Bournemouth, Uxbridge-based AMG Business Solutions and AF Directions from Country Antrim all failed to comply with the regulatory requirement to submit their Retail Mediation Activities Return (RMAR) for the period ended 30 June 2010, the regulator said.

The FSA said is not satisfied that they are fit and proper people having regard to all the circumstances, including the need to ensure that their business is conducted soundly and prudently.
