FP Show claims record visitor numbers

The fifth Finance Professional Show (FP Show), which took place on 8 November, has reported that visitor numbers were up 13% on the 2016 event with over 2000 attendees.

This was despite a rail strike on major lines into London on the day.

The FP Show increased space dedicated to exhibitors by 10% due to demand, while the seminar sessions in the Conference Theatre and The Hub also reported record attendance.

Rachel Fellows of R&R Events, the organiser of the FP Show, said: “Given the adverse circumstances surrounding the train strike, nothing seems to have dampened visitor enthusiasm to attend. We are delighted with how the 2017 FP Show turned out. Attendee numbers were up, and initial feedback from our exhibitors and sponsors indicates a surge in quality, too, with many excited to increase their presence next year.

“The conference programme was an ambitious undertaking but one which definitely paid off. We would like to extend our appreciation to all exhibitors, sponsors, visitors, speakers and suppliers for their support and look forward to doing it all again in 2018.”
